Our Customers Come First
The Secretary of State (SOS) is the official entity who maintains the Texas Administrative Code (TAC). Historically, HHSC has maintained online handbooks containing state rules with which LTC providers must comply. Because of the option to request a copy of the rules from the SOS will allow providers access to the most current and up to date rules, HHSC will no longer to maintain handbooks containing rules online (refer to PL #19-02 for more information).
We have provided links for each handbook to the SOS website - one to view/read online and the other to request a printed version. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 512-336-1005.
